For the first time in three years, I was able to spend Christmas and New Years with my family. I spent Christmas at my parents house, and we visited my sister, her fiance and his family for New Years. Which meant that I was also introduced to my sister's pet snakes.
These are called Papple and Scully. My sister and her fiance rescued Scully and helped him recover from some pretty horrific injuries.
I'm not scared of snakes, I've just never felt particularly drawn to them either, but after holding and bonding with Scully and Papple, I think I've accidentally grown quite fond of them.
Anyway, I started the new year with a totally new experience - playing with snakes. So hopefully the adventures will continue from here.
