Portrait of Japan
A collection of some of my favorite photos from my first time living in beautiful Japan.
I lived in Japan for three months during the summer of 2015. The majority of the time, I lived in the small tea farming village of Wazuka. It was in Wazuka that I met so many wonderful people who shared their amazing life stories with me, and now hold a very dear place in my heart. The town in nestled in the mountains, and full of beautiful, lush, green, hills and fields. During my time there I made a short film about a authentic Japanese tea company called Obubu. I also had the opportunity to travel to the surrounding areas of Kizu, Shiga, Kyoto, Uji, and Osaka, allowing me to experience the amazing beauty and diversity of the country.
